In collaboration with Cardiologist Surgeon Dr. Norma Balderrábano, we created the visual identity, character design, illustration, layout design and pre-press for a publication sponsored by the Hospital Infantil Federico Gómez.
Illustrations
Disautono... qué? ¡Disautonomía! It’s a book that aims to spread information about this heart condition.
Each illustration was created by hand with watercolor technique.
Digital illustrations were also done to complement the book.
Layout
The layout was created for an accessible and easy reading for general audience.
Icon system
The iconographic design follows the graphic line of the hand made illustrations but adapted to the icon communication needs.
WEB APPLICATIONS
The illustrations and icon system developed for the project are applied to its website.
We also created the E-commerce page where you can buy the printed or digital version of the book.
